Who is a Schizophrenic?

I was amazed by this video. I was able to understand what he was trying to say. It did make logical sense to me.

This made me remember the wonderful concept presented in the movie "15 Park Avenue". One cannot say what the other person is experiencing is not real and or not. Because the experience might be as real to them as what we see and accept as reality is to us. Reality is just a perception and it can vary from person to person. We consider people whose perception is very different from the norms to be incorrect (in general), but it might not be true. Possibly they are correct.

Enjoy the video...

La Pieta

Inside the St. Peter's Basilica in Vatican City stands one of the most famous sculptures by Michelangelo - 'La Pieta'.

This sculpture depicts Mother Mary receiving Jesus on the lap, after the crucification.
Michelangelo's Pieta is a little different for the previous Pieta. He has depicted Mother Mary cradling Jesus on her lap, hence had to make the sculpture a little out of proportion, so that the body of Jesus does not look too big on her lap. He achieves this by draping Mother Mary in a beautiful dress which conceals the lean Mother Mary and gives volume to make the proportions look quite normal.

I was really amazed by the details sculpted by Michelangelo. The dress seems to have a natural flow. So, difficult to work on marble, yet the beauty is unmatched. The sculpture was the first to catch my attention after I entered the Basilica. I also like the B/W photograph compared to the rest. Hence, I left it here.

What a fish!

This fish was really interesting. I spotted it at Sea life in Den Haag. It has two spots above its mouth, which, along with the yellow stripe, resembles a face.
It was nice to see the fins in action. I noticed them only when I looked at the captured image.

Thank you for posing for the shot mate.

Look who is talking?

What are you looking at? What is so odd about me that you people stare at me so much when you pass by. It is not that difficult to spot me at my home in Bandipura. I belong here. You are the one visiting and I am not as shy as my friends here. Whatever you are shooting me with better be a camera and not a weapon, Forest patrol is on my quick dial, then let us see who is the hunted.
If it is a photograph, then better edit it with Photoshop and make sure not to use a pirated version. You see I hate piracy.

Sea Horses

They never fail to amaze me. In a world where it is female species who sacrifice a lot to give birth to their offspring, female turtle travelling great distances to lay egg or female squid taking its last breath once it lays eggs or the salmon mother becoming the first food for its babies, Sea Horses show that male should share the responsibility by carrying the eggs in their pouches. I was amazed to learn that only male sea horses have pouches to hold eggs. Just like the colourful male in the picture, the rest (3 sea horses in B&W) do not have the pouch are hence females.

This picture was taken in Den Haag, The Netherlands.
